Radon Testing

Discover how we can help you create a healthier home. The only way to know you have high radon levels is to test.

According to  data at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA),  exposure to radon gas indoors causes more than 20,000 deaths annually in the United States, and is the number one cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. The challenge is that we cant see or smell radon, so it's easy to forget that radon may be a problem in any home, school, or building in the country.  This is why we test, to ensure there is limited risk of exposure to this level one carcinogen.  The EPA and U.S. Surgeon General recommend radon mitigation in any structure testing  at 4.0pCi/L or above.

At Environmental Home Solutions LLC, we follow thorough radon testing protocols dictated by the Ohio Radon Mitigation Standards to accurately assess the radon levels in your property. Our State of Ohio licensed professionals use certified equipment and protocols to ensure precise results, allowing you to make informed decisions about the safety of your living environment. Our process for radon testing is quite simple. We place one or more if required radon monitors in your house (usually basement if you have one). We leave the monitors there for a minimum of 48 hours and then come back to pick it up. Later the day of the pick up we send you the radon test report generated from the data gathered during the testing period.

Take the first step towards a safer home. Contact us today to discuss your radon testing and mitigation needs.
