Radon Mitigation

There are several proven methods to reduce the radon gas levels in your home school, or business. The primary type of system used in Central Ohio is a sub-slab depressurization system. This system includes creating a low pressure field under your structure to draw soil gas (containing radon) from an extraction point into an exhaust pipe, and venting it outside. 

Often a structure requires a combination of systems, such as sub-slab depressurization with sub-membrane depressurization. This would include a standard system with the addition of sealing the crawlspace per Ohio Radon Mitigation Standards, and adding an extraction point under that membrane.

All radon mitigation systems designed and installed in Ohio are required to be done by an Ohio Licensed Radon Mitigation Specialist.
